Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your private Vietnam tour guide and driver. Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Ho Chi Minh City—Vietnam’s most vibrant metropolis—is a bustling hub of commerce and culture, known for its fascinating history, dynamic energy, and rich blend of old and new. The city’s pagodas, museums, public buildings, parks, and tree-lined boulevards make it one of the most captivating destinations in Vietnam.

Enjoy free time at leisure to begin exploring or simply relax after your journey.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Embark on a full-day adventure as you depart Ho Chi Minh City at 08:00 for a scenic drive through the countryside toward the historic Cu Chi Tunnels.

Upon arrival, you’ll watch a brief introductory video explaining the tunnels’ history and construction. Then, spend about an hour exploring this fascinating underground network used during the Vietnam War. You’ll see various mantraps, the remains of an American tank, and numerous bomb craters created by 500-pound bombs dropped by B-52 bombers.

After your visit, return to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving around 13:00.

In the afternoon, your city tour begins with visits to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, both remarkable examples of classical French colonial architecture.

Continue to the Reunification Palace, one of the city’s most significant landmarks. It was here, on April 30, 1975, that the Vietnam War officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through its gates, marking a historic moment in Vietnam’s history.

Next, explore the War Remnants Museum (formerly the Museum of American War Crimes), which offers poignant and thought-provoking displays about the war. Outside, see captured military equipment including jets, tanks, and artillery pieces.

Conclude the afternoon with a visit to bustling Ben Thanh Market, a vibrant hub popular with both locals and tourists. Here you can shop for a wide array of goods—from souvenirs and handicrafts to silk áo dài, the traditional Vietnamese dress.

The tour concludes around 18:00, and you’ll be transferred back to your hotel. Alternatively, you may choose to stay longer at Ben Thanh Market and make your own way back to your hotel.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Today, begin your journey into the fascinating Mekong Delta, one of the most vibrant and fertile regions in the world and a major rice-producing area in Vietnam. Here, the mighty Mekong River splits into nine main branches, creating a vast network of waterways bustling with boats of all sizes—a unique sight that gives the Mekong Delta its distinctive charm and makes it one of the most captivating destinations for Vietnam tours.

Upon arrival, enjoy a boat trip to the lively Cai Be Floating Market, where local traders exchange goods directly from their boats, creating a colorful and bustling scene. Continue your journey to visit nearby villages and meet the warm and welcoming people of the Mekong Delta to gain insights into their traditional way of life.

Afterward, head to An Binh Island, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch with a local family, experiencing authentic Mekong hospitality and cuisine. In the afternoon, take a leisurely bicycle ride around the island, exploring its scenic countryside and peaceful villages.

Later, continue to Can Tho, the bustling heart of the Mekong Delta.

Check in upon arrival, then enjoy free time at leisure.

Overnight in Can Tho.

This morning, embark on a boat cruise to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market—the largest and most vibrant floating market in the Mekong Delta and a highlight of any Vietnam tour. Here, you’ll witness the lively trading scene as countless boats loaded with fresh produce and local goods gather on the river, creating a colorful and bustling spectacle.

Continue your journey through the waterways and stop to explore a local village. Visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodle-making workshop, offering fascinating insights into the daily life and traditional industries of the Mekong Delta people.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (on your own account).

Afterward, drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for your flight to Danang with Vietnam Airlines. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to Hoi An.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An Ancient Town—one of the true highlights of any Vietnam tour—is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its charming architecture and street layout reflect a fascinating blend of indigenous and foreign influences, creating a unique and captivating heritage site.

Today is free for you to explore at your own pace. Cycle through lush rice paddies in the countryside, shop for souvenirs among antique shops and art galleries, or simply sit at a sidewalk café and soak up the town’s romantic, timeless atmosphere. Alternatively, unwind on the pristine white sands of the famous Cua Dai Beach.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Spend a day leisurely cycling through the scenic countryside around Hoi An, far from the city’s traffic, motor scooters, and noise. You’ll cross islands in the Song Thu river delta using local transportation, including ferries and floating bridges.

This immersive tour takes you to visit artisans making bricks using age-old techniques, wooden boat builders crafting traditional river vessels, and weavers creating the colorful straw sleeping mats unique to Hoi An. You’ll also have a chance to try your hand at paddling a famed Vietnamese basket boat.

Throughout the day, you’ll experience authentic, first-hand contact with local villagers, well off the usual tourist routes. At lunchtime, you’ll be welcomed into a local home to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese meal and learn about the family’s customs and daily life. After a break under the shade of a mango tree, you’ll begin your relaxing ride back toward Hoi An, arriving in about an hour.

Overnight in Hoi An.

After breakfast, depart Hoi An for Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Renowned for its magnificent architecture, historic pagodas, and royal tombs nestled among charming villages and hillsides, Hue is one of the most popular destinations on any Vietnam tour.

Along the way, enjoy a scenic stop at the famous Da Nang Beach and visit the Cham Museum, home to the world’s finest collection of Cham sculpture.

Upon arrival in Hue, explore the Imperial Citadel and the Purple Forbidden City, once the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty and a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s royal past.

Overnight in a Hue hotel.

Hue is a city rich in cultural heritage, with more original historical vestiges than any other place in Vietnam. As the former imperial capital, it remains a favorite destination for travelers exploring Vietnam’s past and present.

After breakfast, begin your day with a peaceful dragon boat ride along the Perfume River to visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue your journey with a visit to either the tomb of King Minh Mang or King Tu Duc, both remarkable examples of royal architecture set amidst tranquil landscapes.

In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi with Vietnam Airlines. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your private Vietnam tour guide and driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Hanoi is a city where the exotic charm of old Asia blends beautifully with the vibrant energy of the new. Here, medieval streets and modern avenues coexist harmoniously, creating an urban tapestry that feels part Parisian elegance, part Asian dynamism. In Hanoi, imagination truly becomes reality.

Free at leisure. Overnight in a Hanoi hotel.

Hanoi is undeniably a highlight for any Vietnam journey. Today, you’ll enjoy a full-day tour exploring the many treasures of this captivating capital.

Start with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays), followed by the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, and the unique One Pillar Pagoda. Continue on to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university and a symbol of the nation’s deep respect for learning and culture.

Next, explore the fascinating Museum of Ethnology (or, depending on your interest, the Museum of Fine Arts, Army Museum, History Museum, Women’s Museum, or Hoa Lo Prison) to gain insight into Vietnam’s diverse cultural heritage.

Discover the scenic beauty of West Lake and visit Tran Vu Pagoda, before heading to the serene Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword), a central symbol of Hanoi.

In the late afternoon, experience a cyclo ride through the vibrant streets of the Old Quarter, famous for its narrow alleys and streets named after the traditional trades once practiced there. Pause for a refreshing glass of “Bia Hoi,” Vietnam’s beloved draught beer, at lively Ta Hien Street.

Conclude your day with a fantastic traditional water puppet show, a uniquely Vietnamese art form that brings centuries-old stories to life on water.

Overnight in Hanoi.

08:30: Depart from your hotel in Hanoi for a comfortable drive along the new national highway toward Sapa. Enjoy the scenic journey as you pass through picturesque countryside landscapes, lush rice fields, and rolling mountains.

14:30: Arrive in Sapa and check in to your hotel. Take some time to relax and refresh after the journey.

16:00: Embark on a brief exploration of Sapa town, where you’ll visit the charming Sapa Stone Church and wander the quaint old streets, soaking up the atmosphere of this unique highland town.

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant (on your own account).

Overnight in Sapa.

09:00: Meet your local tour guide at the hotel, where she will give you an overview of the day’s trekking route using a map. Today’s trek will take you through Hang Da, Hau Thao, and Sa Seng villages — peaceful mountain hamlets that see far fewer tourists than the more well-trodden paths around Sapa.

Departing from Sapa town, you’ll follow a trail that initially leads through Sapa market, offering chances to meet and chat with locals from various hill-tribes, many of whom speak some English.

The path gradually ascends along the mountainside, revealing breathtaking views of the Chapa Valley, dotted with rivers, cascading rice terraces, and clustered village homes.

Continue trekking uphill to Hang Da village, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit local houses along the quiet trail. From there, descend toward Sa Seng village, enjoying spectacular vistas of terraced rice fields carved into the mountainsides.

A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot or at a local house. After lunch and a short rest, continue trekking toward Hau Thao village, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Sapa town.

Overnight in Sapa.

This morning, set off to explore one of Northern Vietnam’s vibrant hill tribe markets – a highlight of any Sapa tour and a unique cultural experience. These markets are not only centers of trade but also important social gatherings where ethnic minorities from the surrounding mountains come together to sell goods, share stories, enjoy rice wine, or even look for love.

Depending on the day of the week, you will visit one of the following markets:

  • Tuesday: Coc Ly Market

  • Wednesday: Cao Son Market

  • Thursday: Lung Khau Nhin Market

  • Saturday: Can Cau Market

  • Sunday: Bac Ha, Muong Hum, or Muong Khuong Markets

Each market bursts with colors from traditional garments and handmade crafts, and offers a chance to witness the lively spirit and deep-rooted traditions of the ethnic communities like the Hmong, Dao, Tay, and Phu La.

Enjoy a local lunch before beginning the journey back to Hanoi in the afternoon. Arrive in the evening and check in to your hotel.

Overnight in Hanoi.

This morning, depart Hanoi at 08:00 for a scenic 3-hour drive (approximately 170 km) through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta. Along the way, there will be opportunities to stop for photos of Vietnamese farmers working the lush green paddy fields. Midway, visit a local handicraft workshop featuring intricate embroidered artwork, stone carvings, and a wide selection of Vietnamese gemstones such as star rubies and sapphires.

Upon arrival at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay, you will board a luxury wooden junk cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink and a delicious seafood lunch as the boat begins gliding across the emerald waters, surrounded by thousands of limestone karsts rising dramatically from the sea.

In the afternoon, your cruise will visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave) — one of the most beautiful and largest caves in the bay — and continue to Ti Top Island, where you can swim at the white-sand beach or hike to the summit for panoramic views.

As the sun sets over the bay, the boat anchors in a peaceful area. Enjoy a delicious dinner on board, then spend a relaxing evening surrounded by the natural wonder of Halong Bay.

Overnight on the cruise in Halong Bay.

No Vietnam tour is complete without exploring the breathtaking wonder of Halong Bay. Often described as majestic, mysterious, and inspiring, Halong Bay is a natural masterpiece—a priceless collection of towering limestone sculptures shaped by nature itself.

After breakfast on board, embark on a small sampan to discover a tranquil hidden lagoon as the surrounding mountains come alive in the morning light. Your cruise then continues deeper into Bai Tu Long Bay, passing unique rock formations such as Human Head Island, Turtle Island, and Duck Islet, and gliding past filming locations featured in the famous movie Indochine.

Around noon, the boat returns to the harbor. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi.

Before checking in to your hotel, indulge in a rejuvenating 60-minute relaxation massage at La Siesta Spa. This aromatic treatment combines firm massage techniques with essential oils, focusing on key muscle groups to relieve tension, aches, and stress. The rhythmic movements soothe both body and mind, leaving you balanced, restored, and deeply relaxed—a perfect treat after your Halong adventure.

Overnight in a Hanoi hotel.

Enjoy some free time at leisure for any last-minute shopping or relaxing strolls through Hanoi’s charming streets.

At the appointed time, your private guide and driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.

We hope you have enjoyed a truly memorable Vietnam honeymoon and wish you both a lifetime of happiness together. Safe travels, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Vietnam someday!
