Tuan Chau Island has become a must-visit destination for travelers seeking sun, sea, and unforgettable experiences. Known for its long, man-made beach, world-class entertainment complexes, and luxury resorts, Tuan Chau offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and modern amenities. Let’s explore what makes this island so irresistible!

📖 A Glimpse into Tuan Chau Island

Tuan Chau Island spans 400 hectares, with the Tuan Chau Tourist Area covering 220 hectares. Its name is rooted in history—“Linh Tuan” (patrolman) and “Tri Chau” (district chief)—hinting at its former role as a strategic military outpost. Evidence of human settlement here dates back 3,000–5,000 years, adding remarkable depth to its cultural value.

In 1958, President Ho Chi Minh chose Tuan Chau as a personal retreat. His former residence is now preserved as a memorial site, offering visitors a glimpse into the past. Today, Tuan Chau is a vibrant tourism hub with Vietnam’s largest man-made beach, luxury resorts, and family-friendly attractions, serving as the gateway to Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba Island.
