Singapore’s low-cost carrier Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, is set to make travel between Singapore and Vietnam even more seamless. Riding on the wave of a booming tourism exchange, the airline has announced the launch of new direct routes to Da Nang and Nha Trang — two of Vietnam’s most sought-after coastal destinations.

New Direct Route to Da Nang

Starting October 20, 2025, Scoot will begin operating three weekly flights from Singapore to Da Nang, a city famous for its golden beaches, vibrant food scene, and proximity to cultural treasures such as Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary. By December, the service will expand to daily flights, making it even easier for travelers to include Da Nang in their holiday plans during the busy peak season.

Launching Nha Trang Service

From November 21, 2025, Scoot will also connect Singapore directly to Nha Trang, a coastal gem celebrated for its turquoise waters, island-hopping adventures, and luxury beach resorts. The service will start with two weekly flights, before increasing to five flights per week by January 2026, offering more flexibility for budget-conscious travelers looking to explore Vietnam’s stunning coastline.

Strengthening Scoot’s Vietnam Network

With these additions, Scoot’s Vietnam network will expand to 44 weekly flights across five major cities — Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Nha Trang. This expansion cements the airline’s role as a major connector between Singapore and Vietnam’s most vibrant destinations.

Beyond Vietnam, Scoot has also revealed plans to increase flight frequencies across Southeast Asia, responding to the surge in regional travel demand following the revival of cross-border tourism.
