About Hoang Su Phi

Hoang Su Phi encompasses six picturesque communes—Ban Luoc, Ho Thau, San Sa Ho, Ban Phung, Thong Nguyen, and Nam Ty—in Ha Giang Province. Thanks to its special geographical position, it offers some of Vietnam’s most spectacular views, especially during September and October when golden rice terraces blanket the mountainsides. A journey here promises countless meaningful experiences.

When to Visit Hoang Su Phi

Hoang Su Phi’s rugged terrain and varied climate mean each season offers something special:

✅ Spring (February – April): Perfect for vibrant local festivals and peach and pear blossoms, with lush green tea hills—ideal for photographers and culture lovers.

✅ Mid-April to June: Rice planting season. Terraces shimmer with water, creating mirror-like reflections across the slopes.

✅ Mid-September to October: Harvest season. The fields turn golden, a dream for photographers.
